PTSD therapy
After experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event it can seem that the world is unsafe and nobody can be trusted. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you can trust me to work through your traumatic event and resume the life you want to live.
I have worked for several years with adults and children that have experienced traumatic events. I am STEP qualified to treat Military Sexual Trauma (MST). I also work with family members to help them understand and cope with their families members with PTSD.
I commonly use Cognitive Processing Therapy for clients with PTSD. This is an evidence based therapy that can reduce symptoms and is often completed within 12 sessions.
